Welcome to the Guitar Hysteria mp3 page. You won't find full songs here (it's a breach of copyright laws) but you will find some wicked sounds and excellent guitar pieces you probably haven't heard before. Eventually this section will sport some of my own personal hacks...but for now you'll have to put up with other hackers like..Satriani...

  • S.M.F Artist : Joe Satriani / Duration : 52sec / File Size : 718k
Here's a great sample of Satch's feel for the blues. He plays a beautiful original solo over a simple, slow, mellow blues riff.
  • Mother(solo) Artist : Dave Gilmour / Duration : 34sec / File Size : 471k
Why the solo out of mother you ask? It has no fast impressive licks that almost any guitarist can come out with. This piece of brilliant guitar work epitomizes Gilmour's style and feel. The even level of the guitar in the mix shows a talented sound engineer, because Dave's solo's are more like lyrics than a bunch of notes.
  • River Artist : Adam Lester / Duration : 37sec / File Size :508k
Although this is a shorter piece, the quicker sample rate bumped up the file size, however the quality of this file is much better than PowerCosmic.
i doubt you have ever heard of Adam Lester, and this may well be the only piece of his you hear. It comes highly recommended by me.
This fully accoustic 37 second piece of brilliant guitar work will change your mood in a second...
  • Guitar Solo Artist : Yngwie J. Malmsteen / Duration : 1:52 / File Size : 1.5mb
This must be Yngwie's messiest piece of guitar work ever (those of you with his instructional video may disagree), and that's why i love it. You can almost feel the adrenaline pumping through his viens in this brilliant (quick) solo. Good quality MP3 too...
  • PowerCosmic Artist : Joe Satriani / Duration : 1:04 / File Size : 126k
Brilliant piece of hammering by Satch. Unfortunately, this is not a good example of an MP3 as it's very muddy, came off the 'net as an .aif ..not off a cd...8^\ However, this is an experience no Satch fan should be without.
